The simple pleasures and health benefits of these miraculous fruits should be made available to everyone regardless of their geographical location. So we have decided to make it our mission to provide the best quality tropical fruits to all in North Carolina.
We work locally, setting up stands in Charlotte, Raleigh and Asheville so that residents can have instant access to the variety of fruits that we provide at an affordable price.

We are based in Boone NC, but we serve Charlotte, Raleigh and Asheville.
We currently sell Soursop at $14 a pound for cash purchases, $16 a pound if purchasing via app.
Soursop fruits can range from 1/2 lb to 2 lbs per fruit on average so its hard to give you an exact number of fruits per pound. But in general you would be looking at between 3-5 decent sized fruits in a 5 lb box for example. Please see item pictures above for reference.
The Soursops come in at different levels of ripeness. Some will be ready to eat the day you pick up, some will need 2-3 days to ripen, others will take 5-6 days. We separate the boxes by ripeness at the stand so you can choose from either box.
It is important to peel the skin and deseed the Soursop before consuming as the skin and seeds are claimed to have toxic properties. Once you have peeled the soursop, you can begin deseeding it. The seeds are incapsulated into little pods within the flesh of the soursop. You can either squeeze the seed out individually or put the entire seeded soursop into a blender and pulse it until the seeds detach from their individual pods. You can then blend into a smoothie, juice it or even eat the whole fruit raw.
Soursop is a fruit that ripens very quickly and only has a shelf life of about 7 days maximum. Once you pick up your fruit you would want to consume it within that 7 day period. This would be a safe timeline to go by in order to ensure that your fruits don't go to waste.
When you first receive your fruits, they will a bright green color as seen in the photo above where I'm hugging the fruit. They will also be hard to the touch, some harder than others. As the days go by they will become softer in texture and will darken in hue, going from a bright green to a dull green/ brown color. Don't be alarmed with the color change, this means that the fruit is ripening and becoming more delicious. When it is fully ripe, the skin becomes so soft it will break apart very easily. If it is over ripe, it will smell slightly fermented and may not be enjoyable to most.
If you are purchasing directly from our stand we take Cash, Zelle, and Cash app. If you are prepaying for your order online for Thursday pick up, we take all major credit cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay.
We are currently only servicing Charlotte, at least until the end of spring. We set up our stand every Thursday in Charlotte inside of the Progressive Baptist Church parking lot (1600 Clanton Rd. Charlotte NC) from 11am to 7pm. You can prepay online and pick up your order or you can purchase soursop directly from the stand. Please note that it is first come first serve if you are buying from the stand. We recommend you arrive early before we sell out. The location will be announced on Monday March 11, 2024 via email or text.
The most important difference for us is the water supply. The farmers that we work with use well and or spring water to grow their soursops. They also get ample rain as another source. The rainwater there tends to be more pristine than places that are more heavily populated and produce a lot of traffic and smog, etc. We also know that some Southern Florida farms are growing their produce using public water. Public water contains harmful chemicals and known carcinogens like pfas, fluoride, lead, chlorine, and other craziness that doesn't belong in our bodies. We believe that the water your fruit is grown on is important because a majority of fruits have high water content. Imagine a watermelon which is 92% water grown on city water... We are soursop lovers and consume it regularly so we want top quality for ourselves and our customers.
